Randstad has an exciting opportunity for a Test Engineer to join a leading Life Science organisation. You will be joining a highly successful, multi-faceted team to help develop a new generation software product incorporating new technologies. You will be expected to demonstrate an excellent working knowledge of C# Programming, developing test applications or automating using nUnit/TestNG/ Specflow.

The role
- Participate in product functional reviews, test specifications, documentation review
- Collaborate effectively with peer engineers and architects to solve complex problems spanning their respective areas to deliver end to-end quality in our technology and customer experience
- Design, develop and maintain manual and automated tests test cases using test tools and frameworks
- Execute test cases and analyze and report test results to product teams
- Participate actively in functional, system and regression testing activities
- Work closely with the development team to analyze, debug and resolve any issues
- Design and develop test plans; test cases based upon functional and design specifications
- Identification and documentation of defects, and work with peers to prioritize resolution
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in testing or development using C#/.NET or Java/Javascript
- Hands on experience of REST api testing using Visual Studio/Postman is a must
- Knowledge and experience in Automation Testing using Protractor will be highly regarded
- Experience developing test designs and test cases for verification and validation of product functionality through manual and automated tests a must
- Experience in developing test cases by using nUnit/Junit/TestNG/Selenium/Gherkin based scripts for example Specflow or related tools is a must
- Backend automation with tools such REST-based framework, Jenkins
- Strong working knowledge in Windows Operating system; any scripting language is a must
- Excellent problem solving, analytical skills and technical troubleshooting skills
- Clarity and precision in verbal and written communication
- Familiarity with software development life cycles and agile programming methodologies
- Experience with Performance measurement tools would be a plus
- Experience working with geographically dispersed teams is beneficial
- Willingness to Travel Internationally
