In this role you would work within a number of projects across a few different categories. Looking at the policies and procedures within the council and offer solutions and improvements.

Duties

  • Ongoing development, implementation and monitoring of procurement projects
  • Coordinate regional centralised procurement planning, purchasing and contract management
  • Stakeholder relationship management

Skill and experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications - procurement, finance, legal
  • Experience in procurement and contract management- preferably within local government
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
