Service Desk Analyst

Our client is undertaking a National Infrastructure rollout and is looking for an experienced Analyst to prep the environment and support the rollout

Our client is a Global Organisation who prides themselves in working at the cusp of technology. They are about to rollout Dell Wyse thin clients across 52 of their sites nationally and are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to prep the environments each week. This role would be based in their Brisbane CBD offices.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepping for the 3 sites each week
  • Creating AD accounts
  • Imaging Wyse Terminals
  • Configure backups
  • Arrange and oversee the server deployments
  • Working with the Tech Lead to ensure all technical tasks with our team and other teams are completed for each site
  • Test all accounts created to make sure there are no issues
  • Ensure handover of environments to teams who will be required to configure system is done smoothly and timely, own and follow up on these tasks
  • Escalate any issues rapidly so that Adel an I can take appropriate remediation actions
  • Prepare Exchange mail migration from legacy MS Exchange to new
  • Update all tickets
  • Update asset register with new imaged thin clients (Dell Wyse Thin Clients)
  • Re-image repurposed desktops and coordinate logistics with Adel and Project Support and I
  • Work well under pressure

This role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills.
