Business Development Manager

Exciting opportunity for a BDM to grow the presence of an established FMCG company's dairy and drinks products in Syd Metro territory

Our client, a national dairy and drinks business, is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to grow the presence of their products in an existing territory in the Sydney Metro area.

To be successful in this role, you will have two years experience in a BDM/Territory Manager position, and ideally have experience selling non-alcoholic beverages and dairy products into the independent grocery channel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management of assigned territory and driving sales through product distribution into independent grocery channel
  • Develop and maintain strong and long lasting customer relationships
  • Complete field reporting and strategise to increase promotional effectiveness
  • Utilise planning, time management and selling skills to identify opportunities to increase sales and ensure maximum return from your total territory

Key Responsibilities

  • Previous FMCG experience in a sales environment (dairy & beverage products highly desirable)
  • Two years minimum experience selling into independent grocery channel
  • Exceptional customer service and skills and demonstrated selling ability
  • Effective negotiation skills and confident use of various 'selling' strategies
  • Full NSW Driver's License & own car
  • Experience using a CRM system
