Receptionist

My client based in the Northern Suburbs requires a Receptionist who is bubbly, corporately presented and has excellent customer service skills.

Our client, based in the Northern Suburbs is an internationally known IT service provider. In this pivotal role as a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact to clients and guests.

What this job involves:

We are looking for a corporately presented Receptionist to provide superior customer service, & meet on-site client's expectations.

Our ideal candidate thrives on dealing with a multitude of people; including clients, contractors, & colleagues. You'll need to multi task, be calm in the face of conflicting priorities & thrive in a customer service environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure prompt operation of the switchboard and that all phone queries are directed to the correct team member.
  • Ensure that all conference rooms are cleared promptly and kept in a pristine condition
  • Ensure that Audio-Visual services are in place and the necessary preparations have been made and are in working order and provide assistance as required to ensure a smooth-running meeting.
  • Collect and/or receive mail and courier deliveries
  • On-site key point of contact for Facilities in the client's premises

  • Previous experience in a Corporate Receptionist role
  • Must present a professional and friendly corporate image to clients
  • Ability to interact well within a team
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Ability to confidently interact with all levels of the organisation
  • Be self-motivated
