Project Manager

Opportunity to work in a reputable Disability Not for Profit organisation, supporting the rollout of new NDIA standards.

Role -

We are currently seeking 3 experienced Project Manager/Officer to complete a temporary contract within a disability not for profit organisation. The purpose of these positions is to support 3 general managers with undertaking a range of project research, analysis, reporting, implementation and administrative activities to support the development and delivery of projects, in line with established project plans and objectives.

Duties -

  • Work on the delivery and rollout of new NDIA disability standards across the organisation, amending and adapting to the newly created benchmarks
  • Provide project and operational support, including monitoring and reporting on project plans, milestones and deliverables, to ensure time, cost and quality indicators are in line with approved project plans
  • Update and collate documentation and records regarding relevant issues, policies and practices to ensure the delivery of projects complies with agreed project management methodology
  • Undertake basic research and analysis in assigned project areas and contribute to the preparation of project briefs to support informed decision making and planning
  • Communicate with key stakeholders and coordinate business unit groups, committees and consultations to facilitate exchange of information, provide updates regarding project status and implementation issues
  • Provide a range of secretarial and administrative services, including coordinating project team meetings and preparing papers, to support project management delivery
  • Monitor progress and regularly update project processes as required to deliver project outcomes and financial targets

Ideal Candidate -

  • Knowledge and/or experience in the NFP sector
  • Previous experience in a similar role; happy to consider project officers who are looking to step up into a Project Manager position
  • Knowledge and/or experience within NDIA
