Solutions Consultant

Our client, one of Australia's leading Big 4 is looking to for candidates who are experts in communication, customer service and maintaining relationships with customers who have fallen in arrears.

Your will include but not be limited to;

  • Deliver outstanding customer service to support existing customers that have been impacted in their ability to make payments forwards to debts by building rapport, understanding their financial situation and developing a solution with the customer
  • Effectively negotiate arrangements with customer and implement strategies to assist them to clear arrears or total debt
  • Communicate with customers and bankers daily
  • Manage customer portfolios
  • Take inbound calls
  • Work effectively with vendors, stakeholders ie bankers, External and Internal Legal, LMI, Credit and Risk
  • Proactively manage risk; meet all policies and compliance requirements; perform controls; adhere to Process and Procedures pertaining to the role; escalate events, issues or breaches as they are identified (risk accountability forms part of all roles, as everyone is responsible for managing risk and compliance)

The ideal candidate will have the following experience;

  • Must have 1-2 years customer service experience, preferably assisting customers through financial difficulty or life events
  • Must have strong and clear written and verbal communication skills as this role is primarily phone based however contact is also required over email and sms
  • Awareness of your own wellbeing. The role entails talking to many customers a day and listening to their stories that can be quite challenging to listen to. Then working with the customer to develop a solution. You will need to understand your own trigger points so that you can keep balanced and focus to achieve the best outcomes for both the customer and our client.

Core skills;

  • Basic Credit skills
  • Understanding of DCA's and requirements
  • Exceptional time management and problem solving capability
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Strong attention to detail
