Contact Centre Officer

Exciting call centre role available across local councils in Victoria's North-West.

Randstad are currently working with a number of local councils across Victoria. These temporary assignments will allow you to broaden your customer service and administration experience and contribute to the impactful work of local councils.

Your typical duties will include:

  • Taking inbound calls from customers enquiring about Council services, activities and functions, applications and permits, etc;
  • Receiving and entering customer's requests into Council's request for service (RFS) system and provide updates where required;
  • Resolving any customer complaints received via face to face, telephone or in writing at the Customer Service Centre;
  • Providing administrative support to the departments within local council.

To be successful, you will possess:

  • Previous work experience within government or local council AND customer service experience in a call centre environment;
  • Experience with local government systems e.g. Pathway;
  • Great communication and customer service skills- both verbal and written;
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
