This is your opportunity to be part of an iconic Australian company who are passionate about building smart products and solutions that have a real impact on people's lives. My client is a global water products company, headquartered in Victoria with a branch of 12 locally.

They are currently looking for a Commercial Territory Manager (WA) to maximise and grow revenue and profit by increasing product awareness as well as winning specifications with Hydraulic consultants, Irrigation designers, Building services, Major Commercial Builders and Plumbers.

This role is a balancing act as you will be charged with day to day sales as well as working with specifiers and installers on tenders for longer wins - ideally with a focus within the commercial space. With many warm clients and a household brand known for its quality and local heritage there will be alot of low hanging opportunities to grasp as well as more strategic wins to focus on.

The WA Territory Manager is responsible for:

  • Developing and executing customer call plans to consistently maintain and manage customer relationships and provide innovative pumping solutions
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to OHS&E and a behaviour that demonstrates that safety and well-being is the highest priority
  • Increase sales through marketing the product across the commercial building sector
  • Professional attitude, strong business motivations and pleasant demeanour
  • Consistently winning new business with prime prospects while also maintaining established customers
  • Maintaining systems, policies, procedures and practices surrounding the process of sales
  • Participating in industry events such as trade shows
  • Preparation and presentation of reports as required

As a WA Territory Manager you will hold the following skills:

  • Minimum of five years specification selling experience
  • A strong technical aptitude and an understanding of technical selling solutions
  • Ability to analyse and decipher blueprints, CAD drawings and job specifications
  • Utilise construction project search and tender databases
  • A strong understanding of sales cycles & strategies
  • A high level of personal motivation and a strong desire to succeed
  • Extensive experience with administration procedures using CRM systems, product databases and business intelligence systems
  • An outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral, written, communication and time management skills
  • Strong presentation skills and integrity in business dealings
  • Exposure to and an understanding of WA wholesaling and specification markets
