About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced customer service agent or call center operator to develop their career within the state government. As a dedicated customer service professional, your daily duties will include:

  • Providing high quality customer service in a timely manner
  • Handling inbound phone calls
  • Identifying call purposes and transferring to the appropriate contact centre queue
  • Referring customers to relevant organisations and/or agencies for out of scope transactions
  • Operating the telephone and other communication systems
  • Creating a positive relationship in all interactions by demonstrating a bright phone manner
  • Dealing effectively with difficult enquiries and complaints

About you

You as the successful applicant will have previous customer service experience in a call center environment and will come with the following:

  • High level customer service
  • A positive and confident phone manner
  • Objection handling and effectively answering enquiries
  • Ability to simplify complex information
  • NO holidays booked for the next 6 months
