Inventory Planner & Supervisor

Our client is seeking an experienced Inventory Supervisor superstar to start immediately

ABOUT THE POSITION:

Reporting to the NSW Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for all processes impacting inventory within the warehouse, including ensuring the inventory accuracy for the site, to meet customer demands.

Leading a small team with a safety-first mindset, you will manage cycle counting, processing and investigating returns/credits and picking errors. As a key member of the site leadership team, you will work closely with both the warehouse and sales teams to identify root causes of inventory issues and work towards timely resolutions to meet our customers demands.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ability to meet deadlines in a busy environment while paying attention to detail and quality output
  • Outstanding interpersonal communication skills to be a 'go to' person able to communicate across all warehouse departments, and externally with transport companies
  • Maintain records of all variances according to establish procedures and ensure accuracy of all product transfers from one facility to other
  • Prepare and update all required paperwork for vendor products and ensure accuracy in all inventories and resolve any issues.
  • Monitor and ensure accuracy of all inventory transactions and maintain records of all stockroom locations

CRITERIA:

  • A proactive approach to problem solving
  • An understanding of warehousing and logistics systems
  • A preference for working in a team environment
  • Role model appropriate behaviours and values in the workplace
  • Preferable with relevant Certificate IV training
  • Current Forklift licence and experience operating pallet movers and wrapping machines
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be an Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen.

SALARY PACKAGE:

$75,000 - $85,000 Package (Negotiable depending on experience)
