An exciting opportunity has opened up for an experienced ACFI Coordinator to join a leading Aged Care provider in NSW/ACT, based in Sydney. Our client is a reputable Non for Profit organisation who has been operating for nearly 50 years. This is a great opportunity to join a thriving organisation that's dedicated to promoting within, allowing you to grow within the organisation.

Responsibilities:

In this position, you will be responsible for managing the ACFI management system and supporting facility managers, nurses and care staff to achieve optimum ACFI Funding. This role covers three medium residential aged care sites in the Sydney Metro Area.

Therefore your new role with involve:

  • Subject matter expert for ACFI, effectively providing support and ensuring all claims are completed properly and to legislative requirements
  • Coordinate and actively supervise all ACFI Training and education
  • Liaising with Senior Management in regards to potential ACFI improvements or any documentation discrepancies or areas.
  • Utilising your clinical knowledge when required to improve policy's and procedures

About you:

You will have demonstrated:

  • You will have a tertiary Qualification in Nursing or Equivalent
  • AHPRA Registration
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence
  • ACFI Training and Experience
  • Ability to identify funding opportunities
  • Ability to interpret, collate and report on data
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
