Business Support Officer

Working within a NSW state Government department located in Parramatta the role is responsible for supporting the director and wider team

About the Role:

As a business support officer you will be responsible for providing a high level of administration support to the director and wider team through duties such as:

  • Coordinating meetings, taking meeting minutes and action items
  • Records and document management
  • Creating presentations, reports and spreadsheets
  • Managing team inbox
  • Inductions and onboarding of new staff members

About you:

The successful candidate would be a self-motivated, proactive employee who enjoys working in a team environment who can also work independently.

  • Experience working within a similar role
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience working in a busy environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Software experience preferred (Excel, SAP, Visio, PowerPoint, Word, Objective, Outlook)
