About this role:
Owing to growth our client now seeks to appoint a self-motivated, experienced Property Lawyer (circa 4-5 Yrs p.a.e.) to become a key member of their Property team to add further depth to their highly regarded practice. The role offers a variety of stimulating work, client contact and the assistance of a friendly and supportive team, managing a wide range of property matters with a focus on assisting some of their key clients including retirement villages (some exp. in this type of work will be highly regarded).

About you...
Your strong drafting skills and ability to manage a varied and stimulating workload will be commensurate with your proven background in Property law, with your typical responsibilities including:
  • liaising with clients and meeting their day-to-day needs;
  • drafting both standard and non-standard agreements, contracts of sale;
  • sales and acquisitions of commercial properties;
  • assisting retirement village clients with compliance matters, restructuring and M&A projects;
  • drafting and advising on development, management and lease agreements for retirement development operators;
  • a variety of other general property issues.
Ideally the successful applicant will have:
  • solid (4-5 Yrs) demonstrated experience in a wide range of general Property transactions & advice (ideally including working with Retirement Villages);
  • a strong commercial emphasis in thinking and approach;
  • well developed drafting skills;
  • the ability to manage a varied and intellectually stimulating workload;
  • a self-motivated, proactive, client-focussed approach;
  • the ability to anticipate the needs of the clients.
