Digital Sales Representative

Exciting, newly created Digital Sales opportunity with Nine Network Newcastle. Attractive salary and added bonuses.

The iconic Nine Network, a prominent Australian entertainment group with offerings across television, video on demand, print, digital, radio and real estate classifieds platforms, has recently emerged as the largest locally owned media company. Nine proudly deliver quality digital content through popular channels such as,, 9Honey, Stan and Domain.

As a leader in the digital media space, and with an exciting growth plan in place, the Nine Network are looking to expand their digital team with the addition of a Digital Sales Representative. Located at the Nine studios in Newcastle, and covering the Newcastle and Hunter region, this newly created role will grow Nine's current client base, nurture existing relationships and greatly contribute to the growth of Nine's digital marketing business channels.

The role
  • Develop and grow the digital sales and marketing arm of Nine Network Newcastle, creating a buzz around their innovative product suite
  • Build on, and create new relationships by generating leads through networking, cold canvassing, and pipelining of potential customers
  • Tailor digital products and packages to specific clients' needs to secure the sale
  • Implement PPC advertising, SEO and SEM strategy
  • Contribute to tender submissions and proposals, working closely with the Head of Digital and Technology Operations Manager
  • Manage and maintain the CRM system

The Successful Candidate

You will demonstrate the following experience and soft skills:
  • You are a driven self-starter, who enjoys workshopping creative solutions for clients
  • An energetic, passionate, and professional approach to business development and building strong client relationships
  • Have a growth mindset, along with the confidence and audacity to find and generate leads
  • Proven experience in the digital sector, or can demonstrate an interest in this space
  • Exposure to social media marketing, Native advertising and integrated content.
  • Impeccable communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Develop, implement and deliver on agreed business strategies and planning
  • Possess the ability to work with, and achieve team and individual sales targets
  • Experience with revenue tracking revenue tracking, planning and reporting
  • Ideally you have previous sales experience, with a proven track record of success.
