The Opportunity An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a talented, energetic and career focused associate lawyer (2-5 years' PAE) to join the firm's Brisbane employment and industrial relations practice.
Working with an eminent partner and senior lawyers, you will enjoy exposure to a broad range of employment and industrial relations matters including:
- advising on employment issues including unfair dismissal, workplace bullying, discrimination and agreement and award provisions;
- advising with respect to employment structuring and restructuring and negotiating large scale employment & IR arrangements;
- advising with respect to employment disputes and acting on litigated employment disputes;
- employment contract and policy drafting and interpretation;
- advising clients on workplace health safety issues including prosecutions, coronial inquests and other inquiries; and
- strategic workplace advice.
The team acts for premium clients across a range of interesting industries ensuring this role offers excellent variety and broad exposure to high profile matters.
You will have approximately 2-5 years' PAE in employment and industrial relations (with experience in both contentious and non-contentious matters) gained within a top tier or well regarded practice and you will have a strong academic record.
